damir doma 2010 fallwinter leather lace up sneaker

Parisian higher end label Damir Doma have just released these leather lace-ups as part of their fall winter range for the close of this year. The avant-garde design features two waxed lacing systems, a premium leather upper in an all black colorway, finished with white leather lining. The shoe is made complete with a gum sole and is available now in-store and the newly opened online store at HOSTEM.

Mishka present their 2010 Fall collection. This particular capsule is arguably Mishka’s most preppy collection to date with an eclectic mix of old roots with newly developed styles predominately seen through a new range of outerwear. However, fans of Mishka’s illustration-intensive t-shirts can take solace in the release of shirts with Lamour Supreme, Sara Martin and James Callahan. The 2010 Fall collection will also be met with the release of a special video vignette done by Montreal’s Fame Giant which can be seen exclusively here in the coming days. An official launch party will take place on Friday, August 20th at The Echoplex.

SILLY THING founder and the OBSCURA magazine editor-in-chief TK detailed a recent photoshoot which should serve as a partial foreshadowing to an upcoming collaboration with A Bathing Ape. Involving A Bathing Ape founder NIGO, the shoot was photographed by established Hong Kong-based personality Wing Shya. The shoot also brought in some of TK’s close friends and long-time fans of the BAPE brand such as Jan Lamb, Shawn Yue and Juno. Stay tuned for more details and upcoming OBSCURA issues for this feature.

cody hudson x converse red chuck tayor star high

Another Converse collaboration is in the pipeline as Cody Hudson puts his creative touches on the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star High. The American artist joins Parra as a recent collaborator, with his design featuring a red leather upper with embossing on the side and tongue. Also seen is a blue toecap which creates a strong contrast in the aesthetic. A release is not yet available but should come in the next few weeks.these kickz are nice

the latest project between popular Dutch artist/illustrator Parra and Converse. Part of the (RED) campaign, the shoes feature a beige suede upper with Parra’s cherry character immortalized in an embroidered all-over motif. Look out for a release soon through finer Converse accounts, including Limited Edt Chamber in Singapore.
